The second children's book by author Jason Greiner is designed specifically for infants and toddlers. This is the follow-up to his first publication in this genre "Hugs and Lightning Bugs" which was published in 2019. Similar to the first book, the author was inspired by his work in the child care field and the birth of his second niece. The simple, rhyming structure was influenced by noted children's writers like Dr. Seuss (Theodor Seuss Geisel) and Shel Silverstein. Much like his prior publication, the theme focuses on an appreciation for nature and the wonders of our world. The colorful and creative illustrations are done by Lisa Greiner, mother of the author and grandmother of the child who inspired the book. She is a professional cake decorator by trade and has won competitions for her designs.
